Common Criteria is an internationally recognized independent security standard and an ISO standard (ISO-IEC 15408) for evaluating the security claims of IT products and systems. Common Criteria certification is granted when a Common Criteria Licensed Laboratory determines that a product meets security standards that address its functionality, development environment, documentation and product testing measures.
